This autumn, we had the pleasure of attending a series of community-focused events organised by dedicated local groups, with each event offering crucial support and resources to local people. As a partner, we joined other support agencies to connect with families, young people, and tenants, helping ensure everyone had access to the resources they need. Each event, held at the Town Hall, included a warm welcome, buffet food, and an open space for conversation and support.
The Family & Child Event on September 3rd, hosted by the CnES Family Support Team, focused on assisting families with tailored support, helping them access essential services, and encouraging them to sign-up to all support available to them.
The Adult Learning session on October 10th was organised by Adult Learning, offering adults in the community an opportunity to explore personal development resources, share experiences, and find out the offering from partner agencies.
Next, on November 13th, we look forward to the HHP Tenant Event hosted by HHP from Tenant Engagement and other HHP staff. This upcoming event will offer tenants a chance to engage with housing staff, address tenancy matters, and learn more about resources available to them from partners.
We extend our gratitude to all the organisers who invited us along. Events like these highlight the importance of collaborative efforts and shared spaces, where individuals and families can connect, voice concerns, and receive the support they need.
