After being commissioned by Climate Hebrides CIC to conduct carbon audits for community organisations in the Western Isles on behalf of the Climate Hebrides Climate Hub, our certified Greenhouse Gas (GHG) assessors, Dan and Stewart, commenced their work, starting with Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn as their first stop.

Catherine Thomson, a newly certified assessor herself and the Community Development Apprentice for the Urras, was mentored by Dan and Stewart during their initial audit. She played an essential role in collecting the necessary data to commence the audit and we look forward to working again with Catherine in the future. We are now finalizing the formal report in line with the ISO standard and will aim to assist UOG as they seek to manage their Carbon Footprint.
